Event Overview and Program
The 23nd Kanazawa Odori
All of the geiko (the local term for geisha) from the three chaya districts of Kanazawa (Higashi, Nishi, and Kazuemachi) gather together on stage for performances rich in atmosphere and emotion, including subayashi (music-only performances) and Yamatogaku (a type of shamisen music that blends western harmonies with traditional Japanese melodies).

Notes: Doors open 30 minutes before each performance. Each performance lasts approximately 2 hours. Children under six not permitted. |

Platinum Seats (reserved seats with program): ¥9,000 (incl. tax) S seats: ¥8,000 (incl. tax) A seats: ¥7,000 (incl. tax) Notes: Day-of ticket purchases cost an additional ¥500. For Monday the 22nd, all tickets cost an additional ¥1,000 (plus ¥500 more for day-of purchases). |
